Agastya, a math prodigy, prevents a fellow student from jumping off a building using maths. He shares a bittersweet dinner with his mother, Vinita, marking his father's abandonment. As Vinita explores dating, Agastya navigates his own breakup. A bookstore encounter with a woman, where his math skills fail him, leaves him baffled. The next day, a new math professor inspires an idea to help Vinita.

Agastya hacks a dating app for Vinita, but his algorithm picks terrible dates. To get into his professor's class, he must find her a home, but his data-driven approach fails. His professor teaches him to temper genius with real-world observation, inspiring him to create a new and improved dating algorithm. Meanwhile, Annie hides a secret.

Agastya refines Vinita's dating profile with verified data, finally leading to successful dates for her. Ira allows him to attend her class. Vinita's real estate deal collapses due to Abhimanyu. Annie ends up in hospital due to the pills, leading to a fight with Agastya. Agastya shares his algorithm with Ira. Vinita encounters Abhimanyu again, who apologizes to her.

Vinita and Abhimanyu connect, but Agastya forbids her to date him, fearing it will disrupt his algorithm.
